Beware 'exchange loss' charges when you check out

We had to move room after day one as the water stopped working and brown sludge is all that came out of the basin tap. Breakfast is a la carte and pretty good value. We stayed in a hotel in Sweden last year which charged £35 a head for breakfast which in my book is outrageous. Staff were polite and very helpful. BUT when we checked out we incurred an exchange loss. It was explained that since I booked, the Turkish Lira had depreciated in value. This is a first for me having travelled extensively. I paid in advance in Euro's as that was the only option given and in my book that means I've paid!! If you book well in advance beware, you might get charged a very sizable exchange loss. A very disappointing way to end a perfectly enjoyable stay.

We’ve been there tonight just to ask if there were any party organized for New Year’s Eve. The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. After asking how you can become a member of the club he told us that it takes 2 months and that you have to wear nice purses. Well we are Italian girls and we come from the country that thought you how to make nice purses. Kindly remember that you never know who you have in front of you.

Soho House is an amazing place in the world. Very beautiful place and if you like to go to the hotel and don't escape from the town this is one of the best ways. Very good location and has an amazing view. Very kind team and a very friendly reminder-friendly nothing like another hotel

As a guest of a Club Member, I enjoyed a stay at the Soho House Istanbul in the groovy Beyoglu district. Housed in a 19th century palace endowed with preserved panelled-oak walls, frescoed ceiling, intricate ironwork and marble staircases, now a beautiful, smart melange of old and new. I was privy to a Medium room decorated in contemporary style with a super-sized bed and sumptuous headboard with dabs of Ottoman decor. The bath was marbleized with a walk-in shower and other classy accoutrements. The main restaurant served up a Mediterranean menu with a Mexican twist.....the Seabass Fillet was exemplary. Other perks included: a Spa with a traditional spa, a fitness center as well as rooftop pools. So if you desire to stay in a club hotel, befriend a member........then try the.... .........Soho House Istanbul.........Cash in on Some TLC

- The hotel rooms are big and great. The location is in a very crowded area. Most of the staff are very rude. They are respecting onlyTurkish clients. I was disappointed and no one took real action. Also, no one will take the bags from the car to the lobby as you need to carry your stuff alone.
